Book Review #2: Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe

Title:   Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe Author:   Benjamin Alire Sáenz Publisher: Simon & Schuster Page Count:  359 Type of Review: Contains Spoilers. Summer Vacations have started and I've started reading a lot more again. For the past month I had been on a reading ban, because of exams but now I'm free so hallelujah! Anyways, for 2017, I have been trying to read more contemporary and YA fiction books rather than fantasy because that's all I seemed to read before. One of my favorite books of 2017 has been 'Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe' by     Benjamin Alire Sáenz. I finished it on a cozy Sunday afternoon and it's one of the few books that has actually brought tears to my eyes. I am not a very teary person when it comes to books (figuratively my heart is bleeding but whatever) but the emotions and profoundness of this book genuinely moved me to tears. Book Review #1: A Court of Thorns and Roses Series (Contains Spoilers)

So this is my current favorite fantasy series. I read the first two books in mid-March and then literally could not wait for A Court Of Wings And Ruin. I finally got my hands on it last week and devoured it in two days (even though I had exams but I mean whatever). Prior to that I had re-read A Court of Mist and Fury at least 3 times, I loved it that much. Now read on for my full review of all three books separately and then a review of the entire series. I'm the kind of reader that needs to be sucked in from the first page or I will drag the first chapter for a week. The opening hunting scene was a little tedious for me but eventually I got through and then, boy, was I hooked! Okay, now for the Spring Court. The actual world wasn't explained very well until a later chapter (the library scene with the wall mural) so until then I was a bit con

Welcome To My Blog

This is my first blog post. I've never had a blog before. Well, unless you count Tumblr, but I mostly use it for memes and cat videos so I don't really count it. Anyways, I think you're probably wondering why I've made a blog. Even if you aren't, I'm still gonna tell you so without further ado, there are 2 main reasons: I love books. I love to read them, touch them, smell them and I specially love to rant about them. The thing is, I didn't really have a place to do that so I had the bright idea of a blog (let's hope I don't regret it)! I also have a bookstagram account  where I post pictures of books. (For those unaware, a bookstagram account is an Instagram account for books) I like ranting. Also writing.. Mixed it all together and a blog is where I got the best of both worlds (I'd say sorry but I'm not sorry at all). Now a few things to know about me and my blog: I'm from Pakistan (if it wasn't already obvious enoug
